Project: technical analysis and option strategies

Project with an advisory firm: to combine technical analysis with near term to medium term option strategies. Roles and objectives were defined: my role was only to generate quality ideas in US / European equities (Stock / Index / ETF) with a balanced risk-reward strategy based on technical analysis. Consideration of individual portfolios, relevant risk appetite and suitability of trades was the role of the firm.

With June and July expiry completed, there were 24 trade ideas that closed. Of these 19 (79.2% of trade ideas) generated gains and 5 had losses. Average gains on the profitable trades 3.5%. Average losses -0.5%. (Refer snapshot for details) Trade ideas for August and September expiry are ongoing.

Very interesting to bring technical analysis and option strategies together to add value to investments!
